POD is a 3rd person adventure game about discovering the world outside of your comfort zone and the unexpected treasures that comes with it.
My role: Lead Programmer / Technical Artist
In a team of six members, we had 8 months to produce the game during my last year at The Animation Workshop.
The game was fully programmed in Unreal Engine 4 using blueprints. We chose blueprints for their easy learning curve as most part of the team didn’t have any previous coding knowledge.
I was in charge of programming the game mechanics, characters, AI, character animations, GUI and FX.
In addition, I modelled, textured and shaded the main protagonist of the game as well as the FX for the characters such as footsteps, dust trails, water trails, etc.
